James Downey

James joined Cubex in 2025 as a Transactions Manager, where he is responsible for supporting the origination, structuring, and execution of new transactions across the business.

He began his career at a boutique investor relations firm, advising a range of listed REITs on capital markets engagement and corporate communications. He went on to work at a real estate debt advisory practice, gaining experience in development funding and capital stack restructuring. Prior to joining Cubex, James was part of the capital raising and investor relations team at Fiera Real Estate, where he supported fundraises across the logistics, living, and debt strategies, and investor reporting across the UK platform.
